Poseur History I went across the street and took this photograph one day during the early Nineteen Eighties. This was the scene on a typical day outside POSEUR on Melrose Avenue which at that time was still a street of offices and furniture repair shops - yet to become the trendy street it is today. On the left of the photograph you can see a dry cleaners. On the right of the photograph is a furniture upholstery shop. Above were some offices.
